An Attitude of Gratitude is More Than a Platitude

An Attitude of Gratitude is More Than a Platitude

“ It is necessary, then, to cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” Wallace D. Wattles, in The Science of Getting Rich (1910)

I can’t begin to imagine all the people who have made a positive difference in my life, in ways both big and small. I am grateful for each one including my parents, my wife & family, teachers, friends, colleagues and clients. All have made an impact. All are important. They have, and do, make a difference in my life. I appreciate all of them!

Unfortunately, I have also observed that the most important people in our lives, are also the most likely to be taken for granted. This is the season for gratitude. This is the season to let each of the important people in your life know how important they are to you. May each of you find time this week to reflect on your life and the people who are important to you.

Thanks to all who take time to read my musings week after week. I appreciate your likes, shares, comments and encouragement. None of this would be possible if it weren’t for those who have mentored, coached, encouraged, loved, supported and even challenged me along the path. I’m grateful!

May you have a safe and wonderful holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!
